"Carik" style house shoes have been a long cherished within the Mediterranean, they have been around for nearly seven centuries thanks to masterful craftsmen and their comfortable designs. As modern shoes and slippers became more popular, only a handful of workshops preserve the traditional process of making Carik shoes.

All our shoes are made from chrome free / vegetable tanned leather. All dying is done with locally sourced plant based dyes. Natural, less processed and extremely breathable.
Vegetable tanned leather will mold to the shape of your feet, becoming only more comfortable as you wear them out!
Machine washable at low temperatures and cycles. Hand washing is recommended.
Also suitable for moderate outdoors use.
