Sláinte! We have combined the Gaelic drinking slogan in our design with the image of a quaint looking, bearded guy. With his tattoos, earrings and long beard, it almost reminds a bit of trolls, orcs and other figures from Nordic myths and sagas. While in the background the sun sets over a remote, wild romantic landscape on a lonely coast, our companion puts on a pint with the Irish dark beer stout. The drinking slogan Sláinte mhath, usually shortened to Sláinte, is the Gaelic equivalent to German prosit or cheers. Sláinte means "health", and mhath "good". With this saying, not only Irish and Scots have been cheering in the pub. Even among whisky drinkers and craft beer fans in other countries, it has long been beautiful custom to toast with the Gaelic blessing.
